Extension of the tramline with 6 stations and new infrastructure image generation
The new tram line will be the future infrastructure artery between the two cities of Oberhausen and Essen and will run through the area of former steel factory THYSSEN, now site of the future Science Park O’Vision.
The study proposes a partly elevated track providing access to the new development at different height levels. It will also go through the still existing building of the former steel production at 5 meter height level. By the design of track and stations the tram journey between the two cities will become a pleasant and unique experience.
